Scott Morris is a film editor with 15 years of experience. He has collaborated with directors James Gray, James Mangold, Gareth Edwards, and Adam McKay. In 2022 he was named one of Variety’s top 10 Artisans to watch.

His most recent project, James Gray's Paper Tiger was selected for competition in the 79th Cannes film festival and opened the 64th New York film festival. It will be released theatrically by Neon in November 2026.

His previous film, James Mangold’s A Complete Unknown, was a commercial and critical success. It was nominated for 6 BAFTA and 8 Oscar awards including Best Picture. He edited Gareth Edwards's The Creator, which was nominated for two Oscars. His collaborations with James Gray on Armageddon Time and Ad Astra were selected for competition in the Cannes and Venice film festivals respectively. Ad Astra went on to be nominated for an Oscar. He worked as an additional editor on Adam McKay’s film, Don’t Look Up. It was nominated for 4 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Film Editing for Hank Corwin.
